We pray that Bennett isn’t getting sick. He slept most of the day. He got up this morning just minutes before we left for church. After church, he went back to bed and slept until about 3:00 when I woke him up. He spends a lot of time napping and going to be early which we know he needs his rest. I sometimes wish he had more energy like a 15 year old should.

Bennett didn’t go deer hunting after all. Too cold and too tired. Hamilton went with Sid this afternoon and they didn’t see anything again. They really tried and spent a lot of time but no luck.

He still has his cough but cough drops seem to help too. He says it feels like he has drainage and that is what is making his throat feel scratchy. It’s no really sore just irritated.

Bennett, Lindy and I went shopping this evening in Carbondale. Bennett drove in the dark and on the interstate, he did good. So far since his permit he has drove more on the interstate and in the dark so he has started out well.

The freshman tournament starts tomorrow night at home. We play West Frankfort. We pray this cold/cough doesn’t get Bennett down and that it goes away soon. Thank you for your prayers.
