December 5th update
Bennett’s team won today by 18 points at Nashville. Bennett was excited about starting the game and he also started every quarter. He didn’t make any points but he did a good job defensively. He had three rebounds and an assist.
His cough has returned and it’s worse than it has been. He said his throat feels scratchy and it makes him cough. He has a runny nose too. We believe it might be his sinuses. Hope not though, he doesn’t need to have another sinus surgery. He started his cough syrup tussionex again. He gargled with warm salt water tonight and that seemed to help some. We pray this doesn’t get him down and the cough goes away. If it gets worse, I’ll take him to his pediatrician to see if he has any ideas.
Bennett and Hamilton went hunting this afternoon with Sid. They didn’t see anything. It was really cold and Bennett is debating about not going tomorrow. A good night sleep and sleeping in should help his cold.

Whenever I have a sore throat, I always gargle warm salt water. Hope the cough goes away without getting worse. We still have you all in our prayers.
