December 3rd update

Bennett’s ready to drive. He is finally officially legal to drive with Sid and I, he got his permit today! He will have to have this and so many hours of driving for 9 months so he won’t receive his license until around August. He turns 16 in February which I know he will be anxious and not want to wait but unfortunately that’s the way it turned out for him. Probably one of the negatives for him of being held back when he was first diagnosis.

He is really looking forward to next year already. I don’t want to wish our life away but I know what he means. He is so looking forward to July when he will be finished with his 3 1/2 years of treatment. A lot of changes next year for him, hopefully another big step in this journey being completed and also being able to drive, what’s better than that as a teenager!

We pray he finishes treatment and stays in remission forever. It’s scary to know that this disease sometimes keeps surviving and finds it way back, we ask God to spare us of that night mare.

Bennett’s rash is better but is still noticeable on his arms. It’s not spreading which is a good thing. He had weight lifting yesterday after school and than practice last night. Today after school, they watched the video “film” of the game from Tuesday night.

The boys are going to deer hunt this weekend between basketball practices. It should be a better hunt since the weather has turned cooler. Praying for safe hunting for everyone.
