8th Grade Night
WOW! What a game, we beat West Frankfort tonight at home by about 25 points. All the boys played Great! It was 8th grade night with all the 8th grade cheerleaders and basketball players were recognized along with their parents. I remember last year, I couldn’t watch the 8th graders and their parents because Bennett was supposed to be in that class, graduating that year with his friends, and playing basketball but instead we were getting ready to begin radiation treatments and he wasn’t able to be on the team. It was a special night for our family, we were so proud, thankful and happy that Bennett is well enough to play ball and sometimes pretty good. God is Good!
Bennett played almost all of the game. He had a few rebounds and 4 points. He looked so good, full energy, confidence, and spunk!
Great Job Bennett! You are really a good guard, they don’t get enough credit. I saw several shots you blocked and several steals, too! Uncle Ron and I was glad we got to see you play and most of the game!!! Great pics. Congrats on a great year!
Cindy, the pictures are great. I am so glad that Bennett is feeling better. Last year Bennett was missed. It is such a blessing to see him this year though. He looks good (very handsome and that hair!!!) and healthy. I am so glad to read your postings and keep up to date as I meet myself coming and going most days!!! I will continue to pray for Bennett and your family. May God continue to bless you.
Hey guys, I read your site and check up on you alot. Glad all is going so well. I haven’t been to Church in a few weeks, so I miss talking to and seeing you all. Cindy why aren’t
you in the 8th grade pictures? I know they took one. Bennett, I love your hair, wish I had it. Hope things keep going well and that I get to see you soon. We are all good.
