July 28th update
Bennett’s Dr. appt went good this morning. Everyone commented on how good he looked and how much his hair has grown. The Dr. assured us that everything was fine and his maintenance therapy should go much smoother. She completed a sports school physical for him today and cleared him for playing baseball and basketball. His ankle hasn’t bothered him anymore. He weighed 124 pounds.
His spinal tap with chemo went good. He received an iv push of vincristine. I bragged to all the nurses/Dr. about his baseball game Friday night. They were really impressed and happy for him! We mentioned that he doesn’t run as fast as he used to and Dr. indicated that the vincristine he gets monthly has alot to do with that and it eventually will get better.
We had been with almost a month without any chemo pills and today he began taking steroids twice a day for five days. Also, he has to take 6mp pills daily. He also got his pentamadine breathing treatment today to prevent pneumonia.
The boys had a great day. We went to the paddle boats at Forest Park, boy, was that a work out. We went to St. Louis Mills mall to do glow in the dark goofy golf and also went to the raceway speedway. Below are a couple pics of racing, rock climbing, and jumping on the trampoline. It was nice not having ball games plus being out and about! Praises and Thankful to God!

Looks like you had a very fun day! after your apt. Glad everything went well. We pray maint phase keeps getting better. We are very proud of you! Love ya
Glad you had a great time! Drew wondered what would happen if Hamilton fell off of the rock climbing wall. We told him there were cables connected to him. He said it would be like Spiderman climbing the wall and then using his web if he fell. I hadn’t thought of it that way. It’s good to hear all the good reports on your health and I look forward to seeing you at school!
We are sitting in the hospital together after Dalton had an allergic reaction to the PEG shots. We are so happy to hear that you are doing so well and having some fun!! We know how precious that is. Your site is wonderful as well as your friendship. Dalton thought the go carts looked like fun.
