July 27th update
We went and did blood work this morning. Bennett’s ANC is 3,190!! Yeah! It has been three days since he has a shot so this should be his real numbers. His WBC was 5.8 and he had 55 neutrophils. Hemoglobin is 11.7 and platelets are 197. All great numbers!
We are packing up and getting ready to go to Fairview Heights to go to the movies and to a gateway grizzlies baseball game. We will spend the night since we have to be at the Dr. in St Louis at 8:30. Hamilton is going with Bennett and I.
Bennett will have a spinal tap with chemo injected into his spine so he will be sedated for that. He will receive an iv push of the chemo vincristine plus start taking steroids for five days and the 6mp pill daily. It has been since June 30th since Bennett has had any chemo. We are praying not having any chemo hasn’t activated his leukemia.

Bennett and Hamilton at the Gateway Grizzlies baseball game in Sauget, IL. It was pretty hot at first. It was different and neat to see but we like the So IL Minor games better. They both are in the Frontier League. We went to the Minors game Saturday night as a family, it was fun. I think we have been at the ball field enough this summer! LOL, the boys love it.
“Continue to live in Christ Jesus, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6-7
Great news! Hope you have a fun evening in Fairview Heights!
Yea, great news on the counts!!!! Have a great time at the ballgame. Hoping and praying all goes well with the chemo tomorrow, praying for you daily!!
