February 27th update
Bennett hasn’t felt very well today. When he woke up this morning, he told me that he felt like he had been running in a marathon all night. His legs were very sore. He felt very weak and tired. He didn’t feel up to going to school. Grandma P. made him breakfast and lunch; he really liked it.
He still felt like this afternoon that he didn’t have any energy. He said he really feels like he has a long day hard day. I’m concerned as normally in this part of this treatment phase, he has felt good enough to go to school and do a few things. Of course, I will mention it to the Dr.
He still has a cough and running nose. Some days it seems much better and than it will turn worse in a couple days. He has been looked at my two doctors in St Louis in the last three weeks and no signs of infection. If it is not better by Friday, I made an appt with his pediatrician to see him that morning.
We are trying to get things organized and prepared for the next two weeks since we will be gone from home/school/work.
Thanks for checking in on Bennett!

I sure hope and pray you feel better real soon!!! I know you get tired of laying around! I admire you for being such a great patient–I know it’s not easy! I love the saying–it is all so true. Love ya
Hi Bennett, I sure missed seeing you at Hamilton’s game. It’s so nice to see you helping with the scoreboard and encouraging your little brother. What a ball player he is and I’m sure I know where he gets his ability…..watching you!!!!! I hope you get some energy back soon and feel like getting out before you start your radiation. I will be thinking and praying for you during this time when you’re in St. Louis. Be Strong!
