December 26th update

We had a very nice and quite Christmas.  The boys enjoyed staying home and playing with their things.  Gpa/ma Page came over for lunch and Gpa/ma Johnston came over  for dinner. We enjoyed all of the traditional Christmas food. Sid was busy in the kitchen most of the morning.

Today, we went for a blood test at our local hospital.  Bennett’s ANC is now 319.  We thought it might be higher.  He’s ANC is still dangerously low.   His hemoglogin is 9.7 and platelets were 207 which is up from Saturday.  We will go Friday for another blood test at St Louis, we want them to check it and make sure the numbers are correct.

Because of his low ANC, he will not have treatment tomorrow now.  Bennett has been pretty tired.  He did play xbox today and worked on his ipod.  I have asked him about having a friend over and he doesn’t want to just yet.

We are thankful that we were home for Christmas and not in the hospital.  We are thankful that Bennett hasn’t had any more fevers.  Please continue to pray for Bennett’s healing.
