Christmas Eve
Bennett as Santa at age 3 and age 4. Ho! Ho! Ho!
Merry Christmas Eve!
–
Bennett is doing pretty good. He is a little blue and on the grouchy side. I know he wishes things could be different for him at times like these but he won’t admit it if asked.
Bennett did go with Hamilton and I to run a few errands. We went to Mackie’s in Marion and picked up a pizza to go. We really enjoyed the sunshine! I was glad he agreed to go and not stay home. He had a headache earlier and hopefully this will go away. He wouldn’t even play “Sorry” with me. We are so thankful that he hasn’t ran a fever or anything else that would send us straight to SLCH.
Bennett and Sid went on a golf cart ride just to get out of the house and something different to do while enjoying the fresh air.
We will be staying home tomorrow instead of going to my parents and being with my side of the family. We just can’t chance Bennett getting sick since his counts were in the dangerous stage.
Thanks to everyone’s Christmas cards, thoughts and prayers. Your friendship and love is a blessing and a gift to us!
“When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord told us about.”
“So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.”
“But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.” Luke 2 15-20
