Bennett had a Great day! We went for his blood test early this morning. His ANC was 990 and other counts were good.

He went out to eat for lunch today with me and grandma. He ate just little, his mouth was bothering him.

He went to the Jr. High baseball game at Mt Vernon with Denny/Marya, he enjoyed seeing everyone and watching the great game of baseball! We won 13-3!  We went to the high school football game this evening where he hung out with his friends.

We hope to have answers soon regarding Bennett’s education, please pray that it all will work out for the best for Bennett.

We had a great time camping! Definitely a different scenery for Bennett. He kept busy; riding the four-wheelers in the woods and fields plus fishing and dove hunting. Last night, Sid, Bennett, Hamilton and I went dove hunting for awhile. Bennett and Sid got one each. He is feeling pretty good. He gets tired easy but just stops and rests than he goes back at it. We got home around noon today, Bennett rested and was ready to go hunting again. He went dove hunting with his Grandpa J late this afternoon.

11:00 a.m. We just got home from camping; to get a shower and will head back out. Bennett got 2 doves yesterday. His first official dove hunt! He went with his Dad and cousin, Gordan. We caught one catfish last night but threw it back in since the pond is so low – probably not very good eatin.

Bennett feels pretty good and looks great! His bike wounds are healing. He hasn’t complained about his mouth and is eating some. He does have 4 mouth sores inside his mouth.

Bennett took me on a golf cart ride this morning in the woods looking for deer. Him and Hamilton rode around on the boat on the pond. Bennett shot a few clay pigeons this morning practicing his shot.

Bennett wants to go hunting again this afternoon. Last night they hunted to dusk. He wants me to go with them, so I have to find my camo! There is so much for the boys to do! God’s country! We love it!

7:30 a.m. Bennett’s methotrexate level is .08! Amen! We are packing, and waiting to be discharged!! Watch out dove’s, Here comes Bennett!

4:00 p.m. We got home around 10:00, traffic was pretty good. Bennett has been playing football with Hamilton And getting ready to go dove hunting. We are getting ready to leave to go plus we have decided to camp out on my Dad and Mom’s pond. This is close by where they will dove hunt plus we can catfish tonight. Bennett is looking forward to spending a weekend in the country.

I hope Bennett’s mouth sores doesn’t get too bad. We start the next phase on Tues. Sept 11th. He goes for a blood test Tuesday, Sept. 4th.
