First Day of Spring!

I can’t believe Spring is already here, the first day of spring on March 21st. Bennett was feeling better today and we had an idea. Let’s go feed the ducks at Lake Benton. The boys and I do this once a year or so for something fun/different to do. So we waited for Hamilton to get out of school, bought some bread and went to feed the ducks. The ducks enjoyed it and so did we! It was so nice to be outside with my favorite 2 boys!

    Hey Bennett
The next time you come out to the Lake to feed the ducks, come over to see us! We usually have several ducks around our house at all times. For the last 3 years, we have had a male and female duck come to our swimming pool in the Spring and lay eggs somewhere in our back yard. After the eggs hatch, momma brings them to the pool to learn to swim and stay safe from the foxes. It is a real treat to watch them grow and a very difficult task to get them out of the pool and into the lake. Some years it has delayed our swimming by a month or so.
I hope this weeks treatments are a little easier on you and I sooooo hope your results on all your tests are good. I continue to remember you in prayer every day. May God bless you in a special way.

I couldn’t resist. Thanks for the sweet note to Bennett. We appreciate it!

    Cindy,
I’m glad you got to take the boys out to the lake today. It was such a pretty day, and I’m sure you all enjoyed the outdoors for a nice treat. We’re praying that Bennett’s appointment goes well on Friday. God is in control! Holler at me if you need anything. Don’t forget Sunday! Anything special sound good? If so, don’t be shy just call me & tell me ok.

Remember Sid & Cindy that you all have soo many friends who we can’t take away your pain, but we share it with you. You and your boys are very special to our family. We’ve sure been to several basketball & baseball games!

Sending lots of love and prayers to you,
    Kevin, Tammi, Kyle & Lauren

    Bennett,

I just got back from D.C. with Brock and Mason. They will be coming home on Sunday. They were SO happy to hear that you were having a good day Wednesday! They both wore their leukemia awareness pins the day they left and haven’t taken their bracelets off since the day they got them! I picked you up a little something at the mall when I was there. How about I put it in your mailbox again on Sunday? We have become your regular mailman lately, haven’t we? Ha! Ha! We are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. I hope you are still feeling better and that all goes well today. I love the picture of you and your family. I put it out for all to see!

    Cindy,
We ordered the bracelets off of shanrene.com and the pins off of stockpins.com. Brock was wanting to order some with Bennett’s name on them. He thought he would really like that. If you get a chance, check out these websites and see if there is anything else you would like to have and let me know.
If you need anything, please don’t hesitate to call. I would be more than happy to help you out in any way that I can!
