    Bennett, Hamilton, Mom and Dad,

We saw your baseball picture on the front page of the Benton Evening News Today. Benett, you probably don’t remember us, but your mom might. You and Hamilton were in our children’s programs at church in Benton. (Maybe you remember Alex?) I was thinking about the verse you read during our Children’s Sunday when you were just a little guy. It was, “For I know the plans I have for you, ” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” -Jeremiah 29:11-13 (I have it on video!) Check that verse out and claim it for yourself. You and Hamilton were kids with really big hearts, ready to serve in church anytime we asked. That’s what we remember about you! God loves you and so does the whole town! Praying 4 U all, knowing He’ll strengthen you.

    Bennett,

    世上无难事,只怕有心人

This is a Chinese proverb that means “No task in this world is impossible so long as there are willing hearts.”

There are many willing hearts in your family and among all of the lives you have touched; all of those hearts are willing your recovery. Maintain your faith and determination to beat this disease and you will! Aunt Kim and I pray for you daily.

    Love

  53. The Crawford Family said on February 24th, 2007: 11:23 pm

    Dear Bennett and your Family,

You don’t know us but, we are familiar with some of your family who attend Immanuel Baptist Church. Our daughter, Kelesy, is a Rangler Girl at the high school. Our son Chris is married to Amy Leffler…..Tyler’s aunt. And we have a daughter, Valerie too. All of us want you and your family to know that we are praying fervently for your recovery. Each of us as parents often forget that things like this can happen to any of us, even our own children. That is why it is important that each of us who are Christians come together and surround you with love and prayer for God’s precious love and mercy. You can be sure that God has a purpose in all of this even though it isn’t easy to understand that right now. TRUST in Him and allow His loving arms to surround all of you during this difficult time. There is a sign down on South McLeansboro Street that was put there many years ago by George and Edna Severin outside the Fire’s of Revival Church. It says…… ‘GOD IS BIGGER THAN ANY PROBLEM I COULD EVER HAVE’. It is odd…we never noticed that sign until one day when circumstances in our lives were bad and out of our control. We felt the world had ended because of things that had happened that caused us to wonder if God had forsaken us. But because of prayers from alot of people, some we didn’t even know, we came through that time in our lives and are stronger because because of it. God was there all the time. It was US who had become weak, not Him! Through the years that sign has come to our minds and comforted us when we, ourselves, felt that we were all alone during difficult times in our lives. It isn’t always easy to be strong and keep your chin up but I guarantee you that not one single second goes by when the Lord doesn’t know your needs. Trust in Him. Because what the sign says is so very true……God IS bigger than any problem we could ever have!! God bless your entire family. Our prayers are with you all.

Sincerely, Allen and Janice Crawford and family Feel free to email us if there is anything we can do no matter how small or large. janice_c731@hotmail.com

    Cheerful thoughts like sunbeams
    Lighten up the “darkest fears,”
For when the heart is happy,
There’s just no time for tears.

And when the face is smiling,
    It’s impossible to frown,
    And when you are “high-spirited,”
    You cannot feel “low-down.”

For the nature of our attitude
    Toward circumstantial things,
    Determines our acceptance
Of the problems that life brings.

And since fear and dread and worry
    Cannot help in any way,
    It’s much healthier and happier
    To be cheerful every day.

And if you’ll only try it
You will find, without a doubt,
    A cheerful attitude’s something
    No one should be without.

For when the heart is cheerful,
It cannot be filled with fear,
And without fear the way ahead
    Seems more distinct and clear.

    Bennett,
I have just read the website and have seen the GREAT news. I so happy for you and your family. Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Vicky Pearce, I have known your mom since the 2nd grade. You probably know my husband Les, he wired your new barn. He just recently had a fight with cancer of the mouth. He is now doing great also. I know how hard it may seem at times being in the hospital, BELIEVE ME, but that is a great place, with great people. I truley believe that’s why Les is still here today. Tell your mom, if she needs anything or would like to talk just email me or call. Marya has my number.
Les and I want to let you know we are thinking of you and your family. If you all need anything, just call. Can’t wait to see you on the ballfield this summer.

I hope you know that everyone in this area is praying for you and your family. Hang in there and keep working hard to fight this disease. Keep Holdin’ On Lyrics. .

    You’re not alone
    Together we stand
    I’ll be by your side
You know I’ll take your hand
    When it gets cold
And it feels like the end
    There’s no place to go
You know I won’t give in
    no I won’t give in

    Keep holdin’ on
Cause you know we’ll make it through
    We’ll make it through
    Just, stay strong
Cause you know I’m here for you
    I’m here for you
There’s nothing you can say (repeat)
Nothing you can do(repeat whole line)
there’s no other way when it comes to the truth
    So, keep holding on
Cause you know we’ll make it through
    We’ll make it through

    So far away
    I wish you were here
    Before it’s too late
    This could all disappear
    Before the doors close
And it comes to an end
    With you by my side
I will fight and defend ah ah
I’ll fight and defend, yeah, yeah

    Keep holdin’ on
Cause you know we’ll make it through
    We’ll make it through
    Just, stay strong
Cause you know I’m here for you
    I’m here for you

    There’s nothing you could say
    Nothing you could do
There’s no other way when it comes to the truth
    So, keep holding on
Cause you know we’ll make it through
    We’ll make it through

    Hear me when I say
    When I say I believe
    Nothing’s gonna change
    Nothing’s gonna change destiny
    Whatever’s meant to be
    Will work out perfectly
    Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah….
La da da da, la da da da da
La da da da da da da da da

    Keep holdin’ on
Cause you know we’ll make it through
    We’ll make it through
    Just stay strong
Cause you know I’m here for you
    I’m here for you
    There’s nothing you could say
    Nothing you could do
There’s no other way when it comes to the truth
    So, keep holding on
Cause you know we’ll make it through
    We’ll make it through

    Ahh, ahh
    Keep holdin’ on
    Ahh, ahh
    Keep holdin’ on

Hello buddy, just wanted to let you know you were on my mind sooo much this morning while I was getting ready for work that I had a MAJOR blonde moment!

You’ll like this one! So I remembered I had a dentist appointment this morning and called in work. I go to the dentist office, sit down & wait about 10 minutes. Then Pam at the office said “Tammi, what are you doing here? We don’t have you down until NEXT Tuesday!”

So see, you’re on my mind soooooo much that I can’t think! Anyway, I hope my true story made you laugh. I felt like a bonehead! ha ha

We’re all thinking of you and your family & praying all through the day. Keep up the good work on fighting this battle!!! I’m having a little something delivered to you at the hospital in a few days! Hope it makes you laugh!!!!!!!!

    Bennett,

It really is a small world. I was standing behind you in the snack line at the show a week or so ago, on a Sunday. We saw Ghost Rider, is that what you saw? Anyway, I was with two eighth grade girls (I have an eighth grade son) from Christopher who know Tyler Leffler. They mentioned that you were a friend of his and that your name was Bennett. Well, I work at Rend Lake College and am in a MOMS group with Trudee Wynn (Bailey’s mom.) At our Wednesday meeting she asked for prayer for a boy from Benton named Bennett (cool name by the way) and she told us your story. I don’t believe in coincidence; those girls (Leanna Burkitt and Hope Valette) mentioned your name so that I would recognize you when Trudee shared your news with us, and now I just wanted to let you know that you are in my prayers. Be strong —

To Bennett’s Mom: I have special prayers for you—for strength (of mind and body), courage, understanding, patience. As mothers we need these virtues on the best of days, I can only imagine how you need them now. I’ll be thinking of you often. Take care.

You said your head was fine however the rest of you was not at all fine!!! I just want you to know that you and your family are on my mind alot and I will continue to pray for you all. Hey Bennett! ive never met you, but i think you kno my brother Hunter. I guess you guys played paint ball together! But i want you to know that this is hard! i have the same leukemia! and i am 21! So dont get down! you gotta be strong and know that you are gonna fight til you cant fight anymore! Appreciate all the wonderful people around you cause they are going through a rough time too! but hey we got the crap end of the deal huh? I was thinkin about what to say to you and all i kept thinking about was how i felt when they first told me about my leukemia. Its hard to believe its really happening to you, right? but you realize fast that its not a joke and that its for real. You are gonna have days that i wish you wouldnt have to go through, but chances are slim. I was most concerned about losing my hair which im sure thats not one of your top concerns being male and all. The stats are in your fav and you are gonna make it! Think of it as a baseball game… every second counts. every point counts. just gotta be more stubborn than the poison they put in our bodies. Keep your head up high, never be embarrased! You will realize how many people are out there that are thinking about you everyday. If you ever need anthing, even if you just wanna pick my brain, your more that welcome and i would love to answer questions for you. The more educated you are about your medicines and treatment plan, the better you will feel. Im in the hospital as im writing this… but guess what? my taps are clean now. i might still have to fight, but someone else is fighting with me! TO your parents! You dont kno how much of an impact you are going to have on the outcome of Bennett! Be strong and supportive! My parents would be more that willing to sit and talk with you, as would I. GOod luck to your whole family!!! Your in my prayers!!! Keep me in yours!! :) Mackenzie

    P.S. Its OK to cry!!!

Jo Dick, it is a small world as I was with Bennett at the movies that Sunday to see Ghost Rider. Bennett and I went together. It’s one of our favorite things to do together. That afternoon Bennett mentioned to me that he knew your girls and that they were from Christopher on Tim’s basketball team. We did see Ghost Rider that day too and we thought it was just ok. Maybe next time we see ya, we’ll say hey, didn’t know you worked at RLC with Trud. Thanks for your thoughtfulness. Cindy Page

Hey Bennett, we just want you to know that we are thinking of you and praying everyday. We’ve read that you will be having a hard day tomorrow, and just know that God is in control.

Cindy, although it is Bennett that is going through this, I know that what you are going through, as his mother is significant. I know that ist is mentally tiring for you. Its a hard thing to watch your child go through all this and theres not one thing you can do or you would. I know your heart is breaking everyday, every hour. Its ok to cry and to lean on people, because if you dont, you will sink into yourself. I especially pray for you and your strength.

    Bennett and Cindy:

Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you daily. The first thing I do each morning when I get to work is check your website to get an update. What a great resource to have to keep the lines of communication open between you and all of your supporters. I want you to know that our extended families are praying for your family. Jeff’s family in Harrisburg has you on their prayer lists at church, and my mom in Cincinnati has you on their prayer list at her church. I’m a firm believer that things always happen for a reason. I know this is a tough time for you but as I read through this website, I can see the impact that this is having on a lot of young people. Hopefully, this will make them realize that if they do not already have God in their lives, that they surely need him. What a tribute to Bennett if young people come to know the lord because of his example. Stay strong and just know that God is with you always. Bennett, Coach Roper used to have a saying printed on the high school baseball team shirts that read: Ranger Baseball, determined every out, inning, game. Basically, that means stay determined every step of the way. You are a part of the Ranger Baseball family and we will all stay determined every out, inning and game with you.

I think your dog friend is so cool! He looks like he is at home with you! I am praying for good results from your tests today so maybe you and mom can get home. Keep eatin no matter what it is really important!
I was reading a verse today and thought of you, it is in Philippians 4: 4-7 It says: Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Regoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. and peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. So don’t forget don’t worry let God have control of this situation and he will lead you thru! Stay strong!!!! Myrna

Praise God for answered prayers. So glad you are home and can sleep in your own bed for a change. I imagine they’ve told you this, but the chemo will make you very sleepy. I can remember sleeping for almost 36 hours straight about a week after my treatments. Knowing that tiredness is one of the symptoms of your disease, don’t think it still has a hold of you–it’s probably the chemo.

Don’t try to do too much and just take one day at a time. You are a very brave young man and lucky to have such a great family and many friends praying for you.

Another question is where did the information that said once you are a leukemia patient you are always one come from? i was just wondering cause i had never heard that and i was curious to find out more about that. Well, i hope you and your family are enjoying being back together. Its such a great feeling and our support groups around this town are amazing. never realize it til you really need it! Bennett and family,

Hang in there…..there is light at the end of the tunnel !!

My youngest daughter, Sara, had the flu when she was 3, we thought, when we got her to the ER, they said that it was her appendix. They operated on her 2 days after Christmas and six weeks later, she had a tumor in her right kidney, the size of a football and it weighed 8 pounds. It was a Wilm’s tumor. The doctors at SLCH took out the tumor and her right kidney. She had 9 radiation treatments and 15 months of chemotherapy with 3 different types of chemo meds. It was a long, hard road to recovery, but if you do everything they tell you and keep your spirits up, the road is a lot easier to walk.

Today, Sara is a senior in high school, a cheerleader, a tennis player and she just got a scholarship to play tennis for Rend Lake and is doing all of it with only one kidney. She has been “clean” for 12 years. She is a healthy, happy young lady who lives life to the fullest and is a joy to have around.

PS: We know your mom, she is from Macedonia and used to be our “Grit girl”. We’ve known your grandma and grandpa for a long time, too. You are all in our prayers, we know what kind of road you have to travel.

    Best wishes,
    The Broses

Dear Brose family, When I watched Sara cheer at the highschool games, I wondered if she was from the Brose family in Macedonia that I sold grit too. My mom a couple of months ago asked me if I want my old grit bag that was my brothers and mine! I can’t believe my Mom kept it all this time. My brother and I laughed, as Brian rode his bike when he sold the newspaper and when I took over his route, my Mom drove me around. I can’t remember but it seems like we covered around 50 miles.
It was nice to hear from you and Sara’s story is another inspiration to us to keep fighting! Thanks for sharing it.

Dear Pam, Thanks for your comment. To answer Heather’s and your question about donating blood to Bennett. I checked on the American Red Cross website and it can be done. He is 0 negative which is the universal blood, most common. Either 0 positive or 0 negative can be accepted. I had checked into it for me to donate to him since I am o positive and I can do it at the St Louis Children’s hospital which would be better; the Red Cross suggested. I am checking more into it because I don’t know how long it will take and not sure if Bennett feels like waiting around for me to do this. Usually after all his stuff, we are ready to go.

Before this, I thought donating blood was a good thing but after this, I think it’s Great!

Hope all is well with you and your family! Tell TK and Marv, we said HI!

Pam, Thanks for your comment. To answer Heather and your question about giving blood to Bennett. I think it can be done. I checked on American Red Cross website, the thing I’m not sure about is if you can donate here in Benton. When I called and asked about myself several weeks ago they said I could give it at the St Louis Children’s Hospital. When were there though I don’t really want to be away from Bennett that long and now he doesn’t feel like waiting for me when we make the trip up there for his long appts. He is O negative which is a universal blood and is most common. He can accept O negative or O positive. Thanks for asking.

I used to think it was a good thing to give blood and now I think it’s Great!

Whatever we can do to help Bennett we will be more than willing to give our support. If you would like for us to be checked for anything else, no matter what count us in! Bennett, you are doing GREAT! Keep up the good spirits buddy and remember we LOVE YOU ALL.

Tammi, I asked Bennett’s Dr. about donating blood to him. She said that since he will only need it on as needed basis, she said Red Cross probably wouldn’t let you put it in Bennett’s name. She said if he gets to a specific transfusion schedule than it would be worth while to do. She said Red Cross would call the hospital and ask when he needed it next and they wouldn’t be able to answer because they don’t really know at this time. Just depending on his counts.
Thanks for the offer. I asked about me donating again and she said they don’t like to use the same PH. Thanks Sweetie.

    Cindy and Bennett,

After reading your updates about going shopping and eating good stuff, that is exactly what we did with Sara. We had to go for a week at a time and then 6 weeks later, we had to be there for 3 days, then 6 weeks later, we were there a week, we did this for 15 months, so you kind of have to have things to do to keep you busy when you are not at the hospital. We would go for the treatment and xrays and then we would let her pick the restaurant that she wanted to eat at(usually Mexican, I don’t know if it killed the taste that the chemo left or if it was just her favorite at the time) and then we would do something fun. We spent a lot of time at Union Station and the Zoo and riding the Metro , going to ball games (baseball and hockey)and most of all, shopping !! When she lost her hair, she would not wear a hat but she had to in the swimming pool so her head wouldn’t get sunburned.

Sounds like you keep getting good news, that’s wonderful !! We will keep praying for you and hope that you will be feeling a lot better real soon.

    Best wishes,

Just wanted to let you know we had prayer for you yesterday in our Sunday School class. We are believers in prayer and we take it very seriously. We won’t forget you.

Hope you get to feeling better.

    How about those Salukis!!

Dear Bennett, Cindy, Trey and Hamilton…
Just talked to Aunt Sharon and she told me about your website. This is wonderful and allows so many people to check your progress everyday. We have been praying for you and have ask our church family to add your name to their prayers. There is such power in prayer.
Keep up the fight and you will beat this Bennett. I know a boy who was 6 or 7 when he had this and he is now 20 years old. I was his tutor and spent many days with him. He had his last appointment at St. Jude last summer and is doing great. You soon will have this behind you too.
Trey and Cindy – prayers and thoughts are with you as you two go through this. Wish we were closer.
Hamilton – you just keep on being the great younger brother you are.

Remember “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13

    Thinking of you all often!

    Deb, Kim and Ean

Anyway…I am reading about all of these things that are going on in Benton, and I am jealous I am not there to attend any of them. And I read about baseball starting up, and I am excited because now that we dont live in Chi-town anymore, we will be able to attend more of Jared’s (my husband’s little brother) ballgames, and guess what, he plays for MTV, ya know, the team that you guys always play really hard…so, what that means is that I will be able to come and watch ya’ll play. So, I am excited. I am sorry to hear that you are having a rough couple of days. My students always ask how you are doing, so I wanted to tell you they are thinking about you too. Love ya kiddo….

    Hi Bennett,

I don’t know if you remember me or not, but I was your music teacher when you were at BES. My name is Mrs. McClard. I also went to school with your mom. Anyway, I heard about your illness and I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you and your family. I live in Southwest Missouri now in a town called Bolivar and I still teach music. However, I still have family in Benton and I keep in touch with what is going on there. I hope that you are having a good day and will keep praying for your complete recovery.

Bennett has had many days that he doesn’t talk, just grunts or points at what he wants. You don’t have to apologize, I know you can’t be yourself. I am just glad that you are out of the hospital and at your new home! I am so happy for you! We think and pray for you daily, we love you!

I was just typing you a bible verse on your web site and decided to go back and check Bennett’s website and you left this comment, How weird, I think we were typing at the same time.

What a crazy week it has been around the Johnson home. This week someone t-peed us soooo bad. The worse part of it was that the threw a bunch of rolls in the swimming pool. What a nightmare. Then last night I heard the diving board flopping. When I turned the light on I saw three high school boys splashing. Crazy Danny ran them down. What fun! We told them that they could swim any time, but the the noise had scared us. Just kids having fun! Bennett, I am so sad to read that you are not eating very well. I know that this is a very difficult time for you, Please remember how much you are loved. I also want to say that your mom is truly an amazing woman. She has shone such great faith in God. The scriptures from the Bible that she has posted on your site and Brittani’s have encouraged everyone. The Bible says that, “The joy of the Lord is our strength.” I pray that His love will bring you strength today. Also, have a great time getting fireworks at Boomland! Dymin are praying for you.

I just shouted out to Steve what the counts were for Bennett and he said “That’s GOOD, right?” I don’t recall how to figure the ANC, the bands and segs, etc., but I do remember that an ANC of 500 or below was neutropenic and time for a transfusion– wow, there are some things you wish you really didn’t need to know anything about. But, we do and you’ll have to stay strong, which you have proven to be. As always you’ll be in our prayers. We will be praying specifically for Bennett to be able to tolerate his treatments with minimal nausea and pain throughout this upcoming treatment plan. Our love to you. Julie, are you talking about the Pony team ball party? It’s looking like we will be here to at least Sunday and maybe later. It was Sunday last time when he was discharged and his level is higher than last time so it may take longer to clear.
Right now Bennett isn’t eating, maybe late next week he will have a craving for something provided he doesn’t have the mouth sores. Thanks for commenting. Hope all is well with you and your family! Love ya

If you are still craving cukes have your mom find me I may have some or can get you some. Have you tried them with Ranch or Tangy Tomato salad dressing. That is pretty good too. Well was surfing, and stopped to say hi and I’m thinking about you. Tell Hamilton hi as well, go a Card pic to email you hope I haven’t sent it already, please forgive me if I have. Hi guys, I guess things are not very encouraging right now. I was hoping this round would be better for you Bennett. I had alot (everyone) asked about you on Sat.
Pony Party. Pretty boring, and hot. I can’t imagine how your mouth must feel. Cindy I know it is very hard for you to see Bennett in so much discomfort. Remember time goes by soooo fast and that each day should be a little easier. Trey is still in Fl. with
angelique, I hope when Bennett gets home that he feels like doing things with his
    friends.
Cindy, we miss you and I can only imagine how hard it must be up there and away\

Boy you all must worn out! I don’t know how you have the strength to write an update let alone keep up with Bennett and all his treatments. But it amazes me that you can, just like Brittani and her family does as well. She has become a friend for you to exchange her experiences with her treatments too. That is good for all of you. I hope and pray things begin to get back to a so so normal for you, if there is such a thing for you right now. I will continue to keep reading your updates and thinking about you. Take it one day at a time until you get back. Hugs and kisses to u all. Found this online. Made me laugh….
A Sunday school teacher asked her class, “What was Jesus’ mother’s name?”

    One child answered, “Mary.”

The teacher then asked, “Who knows what Jesus’ father’s name was?”

    A little kid said, “Verge.”

Confused, the teacher asked, “Where did you get that?”

The kid said, “Well, you know they are always talking about Verge n’ Mary.

A lot of kids would be so caught up in their victory they might not think until later, we should have asked Bennett to be in our picture. Cindy, you are one strong woman to keep all this information straight and to relay it to us. I know I don’t tell you often enough how much I appreciate you doing this, as I would not have any way to know how things are going without your postings. I know you get less response now then at first, but we are all still reading and praying. I know I read every day, just don’t know what to write. So glad to hear that everything went well with both your chemo and radiation today. Thanks Cindy for stopping by to say hi. Our visitors lately have been far and few between. Sounds like you are enjoying your stay at the Haven House. We ate at Macarroni Grill the othe night and I had pizza and it was really good. If you take Olive and go west until you pass 40/64 you’ll hit the Chesterfield Mall and they have a Chili’s, Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs and several other places you can try. We’re praying that everything keeps going smoothly for you Bennett. By the way, Ethan dressed up as a magician tonight and had a ball.

    Take care, Alicia Weiman

    An Irish Prayer

    May God give you…
    For every storm, a rainbow,
    For every tear, a smile,
    For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
    For every problem life sends,
    A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

Hi Bennett! My whole family and my church is praying for you. I’m happy that things are clearing up for you and your family. If you have another day when you’re not as good as now, just remember, you have friends and family who love you and want you to have the best life possible. Don’t be worried about anything. Your family and friends we be with you, where ever, when ever, no matter what. Every person around and in this little town we call Benton, will be praying for you. I’m sure of it. They won’t stop praying for you until you are as good as you were before all of this happened. Here’s a little poem I made up when I was three. “Roses are red, Violets are blue. Everyone here, will be praying for you!” I made that because my great grandma died from leukemia, and I don’t want that to happen to one of our favorite Rangers!!!!! Get well soon and Happy Easter!!!! Love, Cortney Denbow

May today be all you need it to be. May the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy
Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight, and conquer all your fears.
May God manifest himself today in ways you have never experienced. May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer, and your prayers be answered. I pray that faith enters a new height for you; I pray that your territory is enlarged. I pray for peace, healing, health, happiness, prosperity, joy, true and undying love for God. Amen!

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage

    Dear Bennett and Cindy,
I hope this finds your cold doing better. We were over at the hospital when Ryan passed. Jeremy was getting an MRI done for some unexplainable tremors in his hands and arms. They think it is due to the methotrexate. We will see at the clinic on Friday. I know that Ryan and Bennett were very close friends and we just wanted to say that we are sorry that another friend has gone to heaven. If you ever need anything just give us a shout. Take care and God Bless you both.

We are so glad to hear that you are feeling and doing so well. Jeremy has been in the hospital for a week now and we are still trying to find out what is causing the fevers and cough. He has had a CT scan done so we are waiting for that to come back. I imagine Bennett is loving this warmer weather, he can spend some more time outside, which we know he loves. Take care and keep feeling better.

    Dear Cindy and Bennett,
We are so glad to hear that Bennett is at least feeling better and that his counts are looking good. Jeremy was only in the hospital over night. We think the prednisone caused so much acid build up that is what caused the hiccups. Go figure. Bennett keep on taking care of yourself and resting your ankle when you can, I know it is a bummer, but with school starting soon you want to be able to get out and play the sports that you love. Take care and God Bless you and your family.
